Affirmations

Today we have a combined topic, so to speak: it's about something very important when dealing with children and at the same time it's a gift idea. The keyword is: affirmations.

It's about the fact that it's incredibly important for children to grow up that they are constantly shown how good they are, just the way they are. How valuable they are, simply because they are there. In modern parlance, this is called affirmations. A real market is now flourishing with ready-made affirmation cards that you can buy. But of course, even better, you can also make your own. The key is simply to give children something like this from time to time to strengthen them in their nature. Two examples of such affirmations are "I dare to speak my mind" and "I am valuable" - there are no limits to the imagination. In any case, it is important that the child always gets the message of how valuable they are and that certain things are self-evident: that you are allowed to speak your mind, that you are valuable, that you are heard.

Social media

Media education and media literacy is a topic that keeps us busy - and will continue to do so. Digital media is playing an increasingly important role in our children's everyday lives. It is therefore becoming increasingly important that we adults stay up-to-date and keep thinking about what we need to do to support our children.
