Frequently asked questions
Here we answer the most frequently asked questions about our practice, your appointments and your child's health to provide you with guidance and reassurance.
What to do in an emergency?
All information and telephone numbers can be found on our emergency page.
How does the appointment process work?
To make an appointment, please send an e-mail to termin@kinderarztpraxis-schorndorf.de - we will then call you back. Alternatively, you can also call us on 07181 9947680. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please cancel it in good time.
How do I get a prescription or a referral slip?
You can request long-term medication and repeat prescriptions in particular, but also referral slips and one-off prescriptions, by emailing rezept@kinderarztpraxis-schorndorf.de and collecting them the following day. We will contact you if we have any queries. Alternatively, you can also call us on 07181 9947680, if possible one day in advance.
Can I also get medical telephone information?
In principle, yes and with pleasure. In order to be able to listen and advise you in peace without other parents overhearing or having to interrupt an examination, we would ask you to let us know when you would like to speak to us. We will then call you back.
Are there also home visits?
In real emergencies or in the case of very serious illnesses, we will also come to your home. However, please bear in mind that the examination options are very limited.

How can I ask for advice outside of an appointment?
The best and most reliable way to obtain information is by e-mail: info@kinderarztpraxis-schorndorf.de. We usually process emails towards the end of the morning and afternoon office hours.
How far in advance should appointments be made?
For appointments that take a little longer, such as check-ups or consultations, it is advisable to make an appointment six to eight weeks in advance.
