Tip from the doc

Doc's opinion 👨🏻‍⚕️: New guideline on breastfeeding duration - please leave the church in the village.

The new national guideline on breastfeeding duration and interventions to promote breastfeeding has recently been published and has immediately triggered some unnecessary media controversy. However, a debate about this guideline is actually largely superfluous.

There are clear and good recommendations, but at the end of the day it should remain an individual story for each mum - that's how we've handled it so far and will continue to do so in the future. Because it makes maximum sense and suits every mother. Or to put it succinctly: "The higher the pressure, the worse the milk flows." Don't let yourselves be put off.
